I think that honesty and trust are the basis of a healthy relationship. If I could be honest about one thing in my life right now, this very moment in time, it is that I am completely (heart, mind and soul) in love with one person. There will be times when I am tested and morally tempted, and I can tell you that I will not falter. Love is complicated and I am willing to go through the trials and tribulations of that love.
I always wondered what my life would be like. I had some screwed up relationships, but am past that. Life is what you make of it. And I am making a good one. I am making the decision to move across the country next year and as they say 'put down roots.' For me this is a big decision because I never saw myself there. When I say there, I mean with a possible family. I now think of myself as one of the 'lucky' ones. I have so many people who love me, friends and family. I am a very lucky one. He says he will always be there for me and I believe him. Whether he is in a different country on a different continent, I know he will be there.
